Jamie MacDowell
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Jamie has always, as he says "been more interested in handstands than football, inspired more by acrobats than body builders, and more inclined towards training than drinking". In 1999 he began training gymnastics, and in 2003 he adopted a much more serious attitude towards his training, and acrobatics. At this time he discovered Parkour where his acrobatic skills quickly allowed him to progress to a high skill level and develop a unique way of moving.
Jamie is also a member of Team Loko, an acrobatic and circus performance group, which provides him with a diverse set of abilities and strength in live performance. Also a professional photographer, Jamie is skilled in capturing the essence of movement and showing how dynamic the human body can be. Recently his photographic work was featured in ALPHA Magazine.
