About

Mike "Smo" Snow received his Stunt Action Person (SAP) grading at the young age of 18 in 2010. His journey towards becoming a Stuntman began after being inspired by the Gymnasts competing in the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Smo started Gymnastics immediately and trained for the next 5 years, competing at state level 5 and placing 2nd overall in 2005. Not long after starting Gymnastics, Smo took up Break Dancing on the side. The rewards of training hard, pushing limits and discovering what the human body is capable of became the motivation to focus on these things above all else from an early age.

Smo discovered Parkour when Trace Elements performed their URBANology show during Throw Down 9, one of the bigger Break Dancing comps in Australia. Not long later, Smo found Trace Elements on the internet and saw that they were running classes as the Australian Parkour Association. Break Dancing was dropped during the early days of his Parkour training. After 6 months of Parkour training Smo became an Assistant Instructor, then 1.5 years later he became a fully qualified Instructor of the APA.

His interest in stunts was sparked by the other Trace Elements members. Jumping on board the stunt industry made sense when there were so many around him already doing it. Since starting Parkour and receiving his SAP grading Smo has taught and performed Parkour all around Australia, appeared in documentaries, news pieces, short films and TVCs.
